On 9 August 2019, the Consulate-General of the Republic of Singapore in Guangzhou hosted a reception to celebrate the 54^th National Day and the 200^th Anniversary of Singapore. We were honoured that Mr Lin Xiong, Vice Chairman of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference Guangdong Committee, Mr Ma Shu, Deputy Secretary-General of Guangzhou Municipal People’s Government, and more than 400 fellow Singaporeans, friends of China as well as foreign friends attended the reception.
