Consul General Chua attended the launching ceremony of SIF’s Enhanced Palliative Care Train-The –Trainer project

Consul General Chua attended the launching ceremony of SIF’s Enhanced Palliative Care Train-The –Trainer project with First People’s Hospital of Yunnan Province New Kunhua Hospital and the Yunnan Health and Development Research Association, in Kunming, Yunnan, on 7 January 2019.  This is a three-year multidisciplinary project aimed at building the capacity of local healthcare professionals and raising the standards of palliative care services.  While in Kunming, CG Chua met with the officials from Foreign Affairs Office of Yunnan Provincial People’s Government to discuss bilateral exchanges and potential cooperation projects, including potential programme to support the student hostels in Ludian County jointly built by the Singapore Embassy and Singapore Chamber of Commerce in Beijing as well China Foundation for Poverty Alleviation.  CG also met up with a group of Singaporeans living and working in Kunming.
