Last week, Consul General Chua attended the 2019 Reception for the Consular Corps in Guangzhou hosted by Guangzhou government.  Mayor Wen Guohui updated the CGs on how Guangzhou has made constant substantive progress in its socio-economic development.  Under the Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou’s strategic position has been further elevated and would fully play a leading role as a national centre city and comprehensive gateway city.  Mayor Wen also engaged the CGs and Consular representatives individually to hear their views about bilateral cooperation.
