About the Consulate-General
Discover the role of Singapore's Consulate-General in Guangzhou and its staff.
The Singapore Consulate-General in Guangzhou whose consular jurisdiction/coverage includes Guangdong, Guizhou, Hainan, Hunan, Yunnan and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was formally established on 3 July 2006. It was upgraded from a consular office which began operation on 25 June 2003 under the jurisdiction of the Singapore Consulate-General in Xiamen. The mission of the Singapore Consulate-General in Guangzhou is to safeguard the legitimate interests and rights of Singaporeans in these provinces as well as to promote, forge and develop all-round bilateral links and cooperation.
